The Dragon Boat Festival(端午节), The Dragon Boat Festival(端午节),a fete-day of China,is coming.It’s also known as Double Fifth Day (the 5th day of the 5th lunar month ,It's 12nd June this year). People have dragon boat races in memory of Qu yuan--an old patriotic poet. Zong Zi(粽子) is the traditional food for this festival. Some families hang 艾草(a kind of herb，is also used in the burning of moxa) on the doors or drink Xiong-Huang-Wine雄黄酒 to protect themselves from illness. Do you know THE WHITE SNAKE (Baishe Zhuan),a very famous mythical tale.White Snake and Green Snake are two snake spirits on E-Mei mountain(峨眉山). White Snake like the scholar（书生、秀才） Xu xian.So they turned themselves into beautiful maidens and made chance to meet Xu xian on the bridge(断桥相遇) by the West Lake(西湖) of Hang Zhou（杭州）. In the story ,Xu xian used Xiong-Huang-Wine雄黄酒 to make his wife Bai niangzi change back the white snake. Every traditional festival brings us so many history culture stories.
