Siesta In Spain the "siesta " is sleeping for short time , around 20 minutes after lunch . I need it every day . This tendency is normal in Latín América too. I was born in Argentina and I lived there until I was 12 . My mother bent me to sleep the "siesta " . I think that in hot places people need "siesta" , we have sun until 10 o,clock at night ; at 7 o,clock the sun is gleaming . The summer is large and its days are very very long.

I think that in hot places countries people need a "siesta" because we have sun the sun doesn't set until 10 o'clock at night and it rises at  7 o'clock in the morning. the sun is gleaming . The summer is large here and its the days are very very long.

Well done Charo! I also think Spaniards need a siesta because they stay up so late at night!
