A lot of things happened to me
Hi everyone!
A lot of things happened to me, and I want to share it with you ;).
Well first I want to talk about my job; I told you in a previous post that I will work as a trainee translator in my college. My first day at work started with a misunderstanding (I hate to be in this kind of situation). To tell you the truth I am not good at communications communicating; because if you looked at my life style I don’t go out a lot I spend my vacations (like winter and summer) at home either watching TV or playing on my computer. And when I started college I began to like reading so I spend my time reading, watching, and playing on my Wii. Actually my Father doesn’t allow me to go out on my own and he insists that he should drive and pick me up. So I don’t have many experiences. Even though I didn’t like what happened; but I learnt a lot from it. This all happened on Sunday (16-6-2013), so I got papers to translate from Arabic to English. Well there were certificates so they have a stander standard form; the Ph.D. gave me the Mmodel and a pamphlet of the names of the subjects in English, you can say that my first job was similar to copy and paste :D.
The Ph.D. called me yesterday to tell me some remarks and give me tips; so I can improve myself. Then I became conscious about my communication skills and I am trying to improve it.
The other thing I want to share is that I attended my relative's wedding; well it was lovely and I enjoyed my time. Now I am reading two books (The Little Prince and Christmas Carol); I made a discussion here on Italki called “Book Lovers” for people to recommend me books for me to read. But I want to read a short novel as a start then I will start reading what they wrote to me. I was very happy when I read their comments, they were lovely (^_^).
