รู้จัก = know , รู้จาก = normal not use and don't have meaning in this context.
Almost -ัก is pronounciation shorter than -า-
example : ตัก = tak (mean = lap), ตาก = taak (verb mean = air like hang clothes )
รัด = rad (mean=bind), ราด =raad (mean=pour on, spread out)

The basic Thai grammar is... Subject verb object.
if you want to put adj for noun, just put it after noun.
for other complex sentences or form of grammars , you should ask case by case and I can help you :D
