What are you doing in five years?(/?What will you be doing in...)

Last night, I read an article, named "What are you doing in five years?"(-"-).
The article is(/was) written about a man who is attracted to music but working at an IT department.(/has been written..)(/-> is "writing")(/The article is about a man who...) When he was confused and anxious, his friend Valerie asked himsuggested, "Visualize what are you doing in five years?.(/..what you will be doing in five years from now) What kind of person do(/would) you want to be?"
After a few minutes of meditation(/thought)(/After thinking about it for a few minutes,..), he told his friend that, in five years (from now), he hoped he could (be able to) issue(/produce) a CD which is(/might become) quite popular among(/all arround) the world and approved(/praised) by many people. (What's more)(/Further/Further more/More over), he said he'd like to live in a place where there is plenty of music(/a thriving music business) and he could work together with some world-class (music masters)(/musicians/producers).
Then his friend said, "If you are (pretty sure)(/certain) about these hopes(/your wishes), 我们就把这些目标倒算回来(I don't know how to translate this sentence.)(..sorry still a beginner with mandarin...??strive toward these vivid pictures of your goals/..visualise your goals until you can see them right in from of your eyes and just go for it...?..;P). If you want to issue(/produce) a CD in the fifth year (of you project), you must sign a contract with a record company in the fourth year. Before that, you need to present your excellent(/best) songs to manyrecord companies(?/as many companies as possible). So in the second year, you should start recording(/to record) your songs and in the first year, you'd better arrange well finish your album's concept and the arrangement(/compositon) of all your songs which are supposed to be recorded. (Right) now, you should write(/you should start writing) songs and modify(/(try to) improve) them over and over. Now, do you know what you should do next week?(?So now, you'd better get started..)"
Listening tohis friend's analysis(/elaboration), he suddenly was(/felt) enlightened. He resigned his work(he quit his job) and moved to Los Angeles. After six years, the selling(/sales) of his CDs started to take off. He spend almost the whole(/all) day (on) working with many world-class (music masters)(/musicians).
As withLike the man(/As it had happend to the man,..), I (was) suddenly(/suddenly felt) enlightened, too. As a senior student, I need to ask the same questions to myself. What am I doing in five years?(/What am I going to do..) What kind of life do I really want?(/..life do I want to lead) What (is it, that) matters most to me? What should I do right now to achieve the goal(my goals)? If I myself don't even know the answers, how can I ask someone else to do me the favor?(to give me advice)(how should anybody else be able to give me any advice truely worthwhile)

What matters most to me? What should I do right now to achieve the goal? If I myself don't even know the answers, how can I ask someone else to give me a favor?
