I like the challenge of doing new things. I believe that trying new things and taking risks make you a more attractive person. I often hear that older people say, “ At that time, I should have challenged myself.” Many people finally had regretted not doing after the time had already passed eventually regret not doing so after it is already too late. I had have seen many people like it that. I learnt how important it is to try new things from these people and my experience. 

When I was a junior high school student, I had a high school I wanted to become attend. In Japan, you are supposed to hold sit for the entry entrance exam to enter gain entry into a high school. The high school, I wanted to attend is located in front of the sea and thus the scenes view from every classroom are is beautiful. In addition, this high school is free in various aspects. You can wear school uniform the way you like and there are few school rules, comparing compared with other schools. This is why I really wanted to go the high school. However, my clam cram and junior high school teachers suggested that I had better change to aim for another high school, due to my grade and exam score had no possibility to pass it as I had a low possibility of passing given my grades and exam scores. Despite of that, I took the exam. Fortunately, I got passed the exam. I even remember the second I opened the paper written “Congratulation for passing the exam”. This experience taught me how important it is to challenge myself to do new things. Even though you think that you cannot succeed, there is some possibility to succeed. I am sure that I must have regretted if I gave up trying it. Since then, I tend to try new things. Actually, I could pass the entrance exam of the university I wanted to go to and now I am preparing to study abroad. I will continue to try new things.


The matter is to try new thing is to afford you confidence The reward of trying new things is gaining confidence. Of course, trying new things and taking risks is are not easy and require strong motivation. Instead On the other hand, you will get become more confident after your achievement. I am not saying that keeping your current situation will have a negative effect on you. Sometimes, it is needed to remain to rest necessary to remain where you are in order to rest. But for a in the long run, you should try new things. If In doing so, you can experience a wonderful life by filling with full of satisfaction. Therefore, I prefer to try new things.
