DIARIES?

Today I want to talk about diaries!
I don't have a diary but a lot of people have one. Some people need to write their diary every day, someone writes about the weather, who won the football matches, their emotions and everything that comes to their mind. I thought diaries are more for girls that draw a heart with the name of their love, but something changed my mind.
A few weeks ago my friend's father found a diary in his house's attic. My friend told me that it's a soldier's diary of the first great world war.
They didn't know exactly the connection between this diary and their family. They think that this soldier was a friend of my friend's great uncle, who was a soldier too.
In his diary the soldier spoke about his life in England and the activity in France, the fights, his confusion where to be and what to do.
It sounds like an amazing story to read.
