Is it delicious? 맛있어요? Is it delicious? 맛있어요? Lots of Korean people say like that. Delicious means 맛있는 in Korean. So saying '맛있어요?' in Korean seems to be natural to us. But if we Korean people say that literally translated in English, it would be 'Is it delicious?' Does it sound awkward to you native English speaker? I didn't know that until today. English native speaker say like these.. right? Do you like it? or in nagative question, Don't you like it?(맛없어요?) How about this sentence? 'How's the food?' Which do you prefer to say?

Hi Chungho, I agree with Kristen, although 'Is it delicious?' is correct, it's not very common for us to say.

I usually say, "Do you like it?" or "Is it good?" "How's the food?" is also fine to say.
