Big Earlobes Means Good Luck In Life?

Does this belief work (exist) in your country?
My father has been studying earlobes recently, so he will make a quick judgment on whether a person is has good luck or bad luck in life based on the size of his/her earlobes. It may sounds absurd. However, according to my observation, this belief may make some senses. People with bigger earlobes may have a more positive mind (tend to think more positively) than those with smaller ones. That positive mind can help them conquer obstacles quickly instead of dwelling on them for quite a while.
For example, my mom and aunt have bigger earlobes, no matter what happens on to them, they are always the first ones letting the bad feeling leave to leave bad feelings behind (them).
What you should have is not the bigger earlobes but a positive mind (outlook), but it’s not easy.
