KEBAYA, Indonesian traditional chlotes

Hello everyone, here I want to share about "Kebaya". Kebaya is Indonesian traditional clothes. In this picture me and my nieces my nieces and I takking picture when our cousin were was married. We are wearing Kebaya. Kebaya name that are used by my cousin is called "Kebaya Basahan". Why it's called "Basahan"? Because when it is worn like when we using a towel, just covered the chest.
"Kebaya Basahan" originated from Solo City (One part town in central of Java, that has strong a culture). If you visit in Indonesia, don't forget to go to  Solo, and my house is nearby too.

Hello, everyone! I want to share about "Kebaya" in this post. Kebaya is a traditional clothing from Indonesia. In this picture, my nieces and I were wearing Kebaya when my cousin was married. The name of the Kebayas used by my cousin is called “Kebaya Basahan.” Why is it called “Basahan”? The reason is: when we are wearing this Kebaya, it looks like we are just wrapping our body with towel (since it only covers the chest).

“Kebaya Basahan” originates from the City of Solo (one of the towns in Central Java that has strong cutural influence). If you visit Indonesia, do not forget to go to Solo and the nearby area.
