A football game was held at 7 o’clock last evening. Mr. Lee arrived his home at 7:30 p.m.. As soon as he arrived, he turned on the television and started to watch the game.

Mr. Lee’s girlfriend called him several times from 8 o’clock. He could not receive the call because his cellular phone was in his bag. She was upset very much ("She was really upset" is what I would say), and later they quarreled hammer and tongs. (This phrase is correct, but I've never heard it.  Seems to be something from a Chinese to English dictionary.)
