The Introduction of the Most Famous Copy of the Poems of Khwaju Kermani Khwaju Kermani whose full name is Abu’l-ʿAṭā Kamāl-al-Din Maḥmud b. ʿAli b. Maḥmud Morshedi is a famous Iranian poet whose poems have appeared in multiple and exquisite copies. The earliest copy of his collection of lyric poems is from the year 750 AH. One of the most famous copies of Khwaju Kermani’s works is the copy “add. 18113”; it is being kept in the library of Great Britain. This copy is known in some sources as Homāy o Homāyun and consists of three Masnavi: Homāy o Homāyun, Kamāl-nāma and Rowżat-al-anwār. The scribe of this work is Mir Ali Ibn Ilyas al-Tabrizi al-Bavarchi. The copy is written in the initial form of Nastaʿlīq. It is considered as a very important example in the evolution of Nastaʿlīq script. The worst damage to the copy is the missing folios, disarrangement of the folios and forms.
