(you're taking about a specific picture, its not about any picture, so the article has to be a definite article :)

Mi cámara fotográfica hizo su última fotografía (first the adjetive, then the noun). Una Nikon vieja (camera is feminine, need the article, same than in English). Cayó de mi bolsillo y terminó sus días en el fondo de un riachuelo (riachuelo is masculine: un). Ahora lo unico que funciona es el flash (unidad de flash in Spanish means literaly 'flash memory stick' - in the sense of a USB PenDrive). Lo lamento mucho. No podré fotografiar por algún el tiempo... (I won't = no podre - For a while = Por algún tiempo)
