Am I broken? Sometimes, it seems to me I am broken. I am really open person and easy-going but starting new acquaintance seems to be hard for me. Even though I invite people to my place, having exchange language lessons with them, writing and trying to chat - they never invite me somewhere and only write when they need my help. However, I see they enjoy the time being with me. Perhaps, I am too serious and 'that is all about business'. What is wrong with me? Has anyone else ever had this kind of situation?..

Am I broken?

Sometimes, it seems to me I am broken. I am a really open person and easy-going [<em>really easy-going and open person</em> более естественный порядок слов], but starting new acquaintances seems to be hard for me. Even though I invite people to my place, have language exchange lessons with them, write and try to chat - they never invite me anywhere and only write when they need my help. However, I see they enjoy (their time with me / being with me). Perhaps I am too serious and 'it is all about business'.

What is wrong with me? Has anyone else ever had this kind of situation?..

Like the others, I can also add that I know the feeling very well.

Thank you for your suggestions =) Sometimes it seems to me too unpolite to ask about personal but if it necessary to signalize a person I want to be his friend... Well, hope it will work =)

There are degrees of friendship. Some people see more in a relationship than others see. If you wanted to be very brave, you could ask these people where you stand as friends. You could scare away everyone, but maybe you would learn something in the process.
