I live in a small apartment in the Moscow region. There are four rooms: a big living room, a small bedroom, a great kitchen and a bathroom with a bath. In the bedroom, there are two single beds, two pictures, one big mirror, a cupboard and a small TV. The living room is very nice. There's a sofa, a cabinet, a desk and a big TV. These are some variations, Ekaterina:

"I live in a small apartment in the centre of Moscow."

"I live in a small apartment in Moscow."

TV is shortened from "Television" and should be in capitals.

".. two chairs and some old furniture." or ".. two chairs and an old dresser."

My apartment

I live in a small apartment in the Moscow. There are four rooms: a big living room, a small bedroom, a large/big/spacious kitchen and a bathroom with a bath. In the bedroom, there are two single bed, two pictures, one big mirror, a cupboard and a small TV. The living room is very nice. There's a sofa, a cabinet, a desk and a big TV. I have a small kitchen, but there's a table, two chairs and an old furniture.

Furniture is uncountable. You can refer to one or more pieces/items of furniture.

For example in your sentence:an old piece of furniture - if it is one item.

Or - The furniture in my kitchen is very old. Here I mean all the furniture - table, chairs, everyting.
