Flanderism (a new word to include in Urban Dictionary)

This is a term which is quickly becoming popular in my country, Spain:


Flanderism

Doctrine based on Ned Flanders' ideas, very similar to political correctness, where an individual or a collective tries to impose his own self-censorship and ideals to on the rest of society. This is especially visible in the case of certain lobbies like those of the homosexuals, feminists, pro-life activists, anti-racism organizations, and certain charities. A recent example is the supression of all terms considered offensive or homophobic (sic) by Gay Gollective, from Google Translator.
