Hey Kevin, how are you? A bit in delay, but here is my two cents... :)

Ruth already did a great job in her correction, but I just wanted to add that we use "et" only with the definitive form (the letter "h" in Hebrew). This is why your second sentence is perfect (et *HA*khalav), but you have to add "H" also in the forth and the fifth sentences (see Ruth's corrections). As Ruth showed you, you can drop the "ET" and not use the definitive form (but it is of course a bit different in meaning).

One other small thing; sentence number 7 is correct, but if you meant "dry", then it should have been "yavésh". :)
