Hi everyone, I am a new italkier. I want to learn english for my job, because there are some foreigners who come from Greece in my office. For me, listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English is not so easy. And the most difficult thing is its accent. Sometimes we have conference call with Greeks. Listening through skype makes it harder to understand what they are talking about. I Hope i can find a tutor from Greece or other south european country at italki.
I have language exchange experience. My partner comes from Sweden. We met each other once a week. It was(<em>i used simple past here since you said you "met" him once a week</em>) really helpful for my english. Everytime when i needed to write an email, he helped me revising it. He had a Chinese text book, and I helped him to answer his question that he found in that book. Both of us benefited from the language exchange and it lasted about 2 years. However, he is back to Sweden finally. And my English study has stopped.
I am excited to find this website. I Hope i can start my road to study English again.
