Ladies and Gentleman:
May I hereby declare open initiate "Tianjin International Forum on Civil Society and Cultural Pluralism in the Asia-Pacific Region". First of all, permit me, on behalf of the organizing committee of the forum, to extend our warm welcome to the leaders of the Tianjin municipal government, the leaders of the social organizations, the representatives of the community society worker's association, and people of all circles. Our warm welcome goes also to the our friends from Canada, Austrilia, and the United Kingdom, as well as from other countries and regions. I wish to express our sincere thanks to the Langara Community College of Vancouver, Canada, and the Civil Society Research Institute of La Trobe University, Australia, whose generous generosity contributed to the success of this international forum.
