Stefano
Which is better: attending a concert, or watching the same concert at home? Nowadays if you want to enjoy a concert you have two different choices: to go where it takes place, as usual, or watch it on TV or computer at home. Both the choices have advantages and disadvantages. Firstly going to a concert is quite expensive, especially for young people. Furthermore, you have to pass a lot of time in queue waiting to enter, the same happens if you need a bathroom. On the other hand, watching a concert on your TV or computer is surely cheaper and even confortable: you could invite your friends and spend a pleasant evening watching the event all together. On balance if you really wish to experience the concert and appreciate the special atmosphere of the performance you must be there: seeing your favourite singer live, singing and dancing together with thousand of people is an experience you'll never forget.

Which is better: attending a concert, or watching the same concert at home?

Nowadays if you want to enjoy a concert you have two different choices: to go where it takes place, as usual, or to watch it on TV or computer at home. Both the choices have advantages and disadvantages.

Firstly, going to a concert is quite expensive, especially for young people. Furthermore, you have to pass spend/waste (1) a lot of time in (a?) queue waiting to enter; (2) the same happens if you need (to use) a bathroom.

On the other hand, watching a concert on your TV or computer is surely cheaper and even comfortable: you could invite your friends (over) and spend a pleasant evening watching the event all together.

On balance if you really wish to experience the concert and appreciate the special atmosphere of the performance you must be there: seeing your favourite singer live, and singing and dancing together with thousands of people is an experience you'll never forget.

Well done, Stefano!

Note 1

In English, it's more natural to spend time or waste time (depending upon one's perspective!) in a queue. We don't usually pass time in a queue. By the way, I do not know if "in queue" or "in a queue" is better in British English. In American English, it is "wait in line".

Note 2

Don't forget to connect these two independent clauses with something other than a comma, or you are making a comma splice. So you can use a semicolon, colon, or even a dash. The most common one is the semicolon (;). As you probably know, you can also connect two independent clauses with a comma followed by a conjunction (which include the FANBOYS: for, and, not, but, or, yet, so). You did remember to do this in the next two paragraphs, so good job!

As Rebecca has alluded to, we often use over in this context: go/come over to someone's house, invite someone over, have your friends over. Are you going over to Ted's (house) tonight? It is not necessary, but it's very natural English--at least American English; I never know what those Brits do! :)

Which is better: attending a concert, or watching the same concert at home?

Nowadays if you want to enjoy a concert you have two different choices: to go where it takes place, as is usual [I would say "as is traditional", since you said that "nowadays" people have two options and this implies that traditionally, they only had one option] or watch it on your TV or computer at home. Both the choices have advantages and disadvantages.

Firstly going to a concert is quite expensive, especially for young people. Furthermore, you have to pass a lot of time in queue waiting to enter, the same happens if you need a bathroom. [this is more of a preference thing, but I think that "if you need to use the bathroom" sounds better]

On the other hand, watching a concert on your TV or computer is surely cheaper and even more comfortable: you could invite your friends over and spend a pleasant evening watching the event all together.

On balance However, if you really wish to experience the concert and appreciate the special atmosphere of the performance you must be there: seeing your favourite singer live and singing and dancing together with thousands of people is an experience you'll never forget.

very well written! If you have any questions about my corrections, please let me know,
