Japanese is difficult. I have been studying a five word lesson every day for five months, but my Japanese is very bad. I know 526 words and 65 kanji now.

(*Sometimes the literal translation doesn't sound natural. in thins case, I would say: 日本語は難しいです。私は、5ヶ月間[ごかげつかん]毎日5つの単語[いつつのたんご]を覚え[おぼえ]ながら勉強しています。でも私の日本語は上手[じょうず]ではありません。今までに526個の単語と漢字を65字覚えました。)
