Lookin' for an American person)  [1]

Currently looking for an American friend to talk to. I'm quite outgoing, positive, and reliable person.)

Variant:  I'm quite outgoing, positive, and reliable.

In Russian, you often include the words человек or люди when naming a nationality.  However, the words "person" and "people" are ordinarily not necessary in English.  Examples:

"I recently met a Russian who was visiting the United States." NOT "I met a Russian person who was visiting...."

"Americans celebrate their independence on July 4th."  NOT "American people celebrate their ......"

If you used the word "person" or "people", it would sound ok, but it would not sound completely natural.

Exception:  When you would use the word "народ" in Russian, you may use "people" in English.  Example:  "In our history class, we are studying the origin of the Russian people."
