Well‚ I got the meaning of a few sentences‚ the first sentence which tells us friendships needs time to be completed and thrived and also I understood the supposition of Aristotle but I didn't understand the second sentence completely‚ it was trying to say that at the present time specially our nonworking hours are considered as a family time actually the times which are given to our family when we are free of work‚ but little allowance of this free time is made for making friends or building friendships ‚Right?
