Security elements in Mexican pesos bills. Mexican bills have diverse security elements which can be quickly recognized in order to verify its authenticity. This simple task can be done in seconds en consists in touching, looking, and turning the bill. Touch In all the values of the current bill family, you can feel with your fingertips a raised print. It is found in the texts "Banco de México", and on the value with number and letter, and on some parts of the character. Look Perfect registry - Are prints from both sides of the bill. When held up to the light, they complement perfectly, forming a map of the Mexican Republic and a compass rose. Watermark - it is an image which is part of the paper since its manufacture. The watermark is the image of the character and can be seen when held up to the light. Security thread - Crosses the bill vetically and can be seen when held up on the light as a black bar. Transparent window: This element can be seen easily near the bill's value. It is only available on the polymer bills. Turn Element that changes color - Can be seen by taking the bill from the front and placing it at a 30 cm. distance from the eyes, afterwards you have to turn it or tilt it a little. 3D thread - This thread is part of the bill since its manufacture. It is intertwined in the bill and on its salient parts, a 3D prehispanic snail shape can be seen. Mexican bills have diverse security elements which can be quickly recognized in order to verify its authenticity. This simple task can be done in seconds en and consists in of touching, looking, and turning the bill.

Touch
In all the values of the current bill family, you can feel with your fingertips a raised print. It is found in the texts "Banco de México", and on the value with number and letter, and on some parts of the character.

Look
Perfect registry - There are prints from on both sides of the bill that when held up to the light, they complement each other perfectly by forming a map of the Mexican Republic and a compass rose.

Watermark - An image which is part of the paper since its manufacture, the watermark, in the image of the character (what character?) and can be seen when held up to the light.

Security thread - These cross the bill vertically and can be seen when held up on to the light as a black bar.
