English topics When I was at school back in years, we used to learn some topics by heart (for the exam). The most famous is "London is the capital of Great Britain". Now we use this phrase to refer to the situation when no one saw any sense in studying English or now much of London, as none of us could go to any place where people talk English, certainly not to London itself.

When I was at school back in years I studied at school in the past, we used to study some topics by heart (for an exam). The most famous was "London is the capital of Great Britain". Now we use this phrase to refer to the situation when no one sees any sense in studying English or now much of London, as none of us could go to any place where people speak English, certainly it is not about London at all.
