How can we help to reduce traffic Jams? If you want to help reduce traffic jams there are lots of things you can do in order to minimize air pollution that negatively affects the environment as it creates serious breathing problems mostly in young children and the elderly. Firstly, we need to avoid peak times. You can schedule your trips such as going to the bank or do the shopping at certain hours when there is less traffic, in this way you avoid the stress of being stuck in the traffic and your car consume less fuel. Another solution to this problem is to use public transportation as this is a good option to not being stressed while driving. You can quietly sit and read a book or listening to music, also is cheaper than using the car. Finally, we can create the habit of doing the shops or going to another place by bicycle or walking trying not to use the car frequently. If you do this, people will see you’re conscious about air pollution and it will help you be more active. In conclusion, we should take these suggestions into account and give the example by doing them until we create the habit. This will help the environment and our money. We must be more conscious at these topics and do our part as we live on the same earth and we must take care of it. As activist Terri Swearingen said “We are living on this planet as if we had another one to go to”.
