You are most welcome, Connie :)) To be honest, I was about to tell you in my previous comment that italki might say something about your profile photo because it's too far. Take a look at the profile photo guidelines and if you can change yours to another that shows your face like Mr.Zhang's and Steve White's, your teaching application will have a better chance to be accepted: http://support.italki.com/hc/en-us/articles/206351988

It's exactly as Steveh said; the fact that italki is on holiday from Jan.27th - Feb.6th for the New Chinese Year will make your application take longer time, so expect to hear from them starting Feb.6th and don't worry about the delay :) I wish you all the best, Connie.

Me: about 5-6 days then rejected for photo. Another 5-6 days then rejected for a better photo (but still not good enough :)). Another 5-6 days then accepted. Personally, I wouldn't follow up with any business until after at least 7 *working days* (not 7 calendar days), taking international holidays into account. It's currently Spring Festival in China, and italki is a Chinese company.
