Sea side picnic. 海辺のピクニック

On February 4th of the Japanese calendar it is 'Risshun.'
日本のカレンダーでは、２月４日は’立春’です。
'Risshun’ means the first day of spring.
‘立春’は、春の第一日目という意味です。
It was a fine day on ‘Risshun’ of this year, and spring seemed to really arrive.
今年の立春は、とても天気が良くて、本当に春が来たようでした。
Because it was the weekend, I went for a picnic with my family by the sea.
週末だったので、家族で海辺にピクニックに行きました。
I bought some French bread in a bakery and with bacon, meatloaf and a boiled egg, enjoyed early spring by the seaside.
ベーカリーでフランスパンを買って、ベーコンやミートローフ、ゆで卵などを持って、早春の海辺を楽しんできました。
Spring shines on the beautiful sea, (on Sky is higher and higher.)
春の光が美しい海に輝いて、空はどこまでもどこまでも高かった。
I enjoy taking naps to my heart's content there.
そこで思う存分昼寝を楽しみました。

This year during ‘Risshun’, the weather was very nice. It seemed that Spring had really started on that day.
今年の立春は、とても天気が良くて、本当に春が来たようでした。

I bought a loaf of french bread in a bakery and, with bacon, meatloaf, and boiled egg, enjoyed the early Spring weather by the seaside.

The Spring sun shone on the beautiful sea, climbing higher and higher in the sky.

Note: On whether to capitalize the word "French" in "french bread", there seems to be some differences in opinion. I tend to agree it does not require a capital letter. A capital letter is always required when referring to the country France however as it is a proper noun.
