Fantasy from U.K. Recently, I noticed that I haven't watched any movie in several months. I came to want to watch some. I checked the list of the movies that are now being presented. In this season, many good movies are being presented. I found some movies that I like to watch. One of them is "メアリと魔女の花" (Mary and the Witch's Flower). It is an animation film. I am not a person who loves animations very much but I have some favorite animation movies such as "My Neighbor Totoro" and "Kiki's Delivery Service". I have DVDs of them. This movie seems to be similar to them. So I am thinking of watching it. This movie is based off of a novel, "The Little Broomstick" written by a British novelist, Mary Stewart. I think I haven't read her books yet. By the way, it seems like U.K. has produced many good fantasy stories. Alice, Peter Pan, The Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and Harry Potter. I am curious about why such many popular stories came from U.K.
