English version: // I currently live in Amsterdam in The Netherlands. Amsterdam is located next to the North Sea, in north-west Europe, about 1850 km north of Tokyo latitude. I’ll talk about the climate of the different seasons over here. // In general the climate is mild. The difference in the temperatures throughout the year is moderate. There is no “rainy season”, it just rains a little bit all the time. It is also often windy, westerly wind is coming from the sea. // It is warm and very pleasant on sunny summer days. The temperature rarely goes above 25°C. There is a sea close by, but only people who like the sea a lot swim there. The water is not very warm even in July. // In the winter it almost never snows. The temperature typically hovers between 0°C and 6°C. When it rains during the day, the roads are icy in the evening. Once in 10 years it is cold enough for the water in Amsterdam channels to freeze over. Then people can ice skate, and it is great fun. // I like the comfortable climate of Amsterdam. And I hope to one day experience what it’s like in Japan. But I also miss the true change of seasons of my hometown in Russia.
