A father found his daughter, missing for 24 years, thanks to his taxi driver job
A taxi driver of Chengdu, China, finds his daughter, missing for 24 years, thanks to his taxi. He tells his story.*The driver, Wang Mingqing, became a taxi driver in 2015 to make public the story of his 3 year old daughter, lost in 1994, after a moment of carelessness while her father attended his street stall.
Wang and his wife spent years hanging up posters, being in contact with police and visiting orphanages.
Wang's daughter, learning about her father through a newspaper article, contacted with police and on 1st of April she ran a DNA test. The test confirmed that she was the lost girl of 24 years ago.
It is expected that all the family will gather together this week.
*One could, with small effort, have included the 'told his story' part in the same sentence. However .... Taxi driver of Chengdu, China -- finds daughter -- missing long time -- due to taxi -- tells story (I count 5 rather different ideas). That is much too many for me.
Very well written!
