What are the benefits of keeping a language journal/diary? A language diary or journal is extremely helpful for learners of any language. Here are a few reasons why: 1. You can use it to note down any new words/phrases you learned throughout the day. 2. You can keep track of your progress. 3. You have something to refer back to whenever you need it during your language journey. 4. You have proof of your learning. This might not sound like a big deal but it can work to your benefit by showing your independence and learner autonomy.
