Your favorite book essay ~Harry Potter~ Write a short review of your favourite book you have read in English for your school library. Remember to mention in your review:  why you like the book;  why you have read it in English and not in the Russian translation;  why your school library should have this book. Harry Potter is definitely my favorite book series. I read my first Harry Potter book at the age of 7 and was amazed. I like these books so much because they are rich in lessons and values; they have taught me many things. They took me on a journey that lasted for years. I could always run away from reality and find myself in the mysterious world of Hogwarts. I reckon that if you are fluent enough in the language, you can read the original version of the book. It helps you expand your vocabulary. Plus, it is always better to read a book in its original language so that you can appreciate the exact choice of words an author used to give the sentences a desired feel and meaning. I think our school library should have this book series in original language as well as translated because I believe books can bring people together. Students of all ages usually find this story amusing and interesting, and I am sure it is able to shape a young person’s personality and help him on the difficult path of growing up. I guess this is kind of a short essay and I'd usually write more but the amount of words is restricted and mine is already about 200. How can I rephrase the last sentence if I don't wanna say "help him"? Thank you C:

_____

You can paraphrase the last sentence into "guide him/her through adolescence". :)
