Mc Graw Hill Book 1 Task 2 Even though some people think that children whose both parents work are advantageous because of the additional income, the others that they are not supported by their absent parents. In my opinion, parents must work in today's competitive world but they should spend their spare times with their children as possible as they can. First of all, in current economical situation, both parents must work and contribute the household. When both parents work, it would be more profitable for children in terms of requirements compared to families with an only working parent. Children can get benefit better in terms of education, lifestyle etc. They can go better schools. They can develop their hobbies. They can have better clothes and they would utilize the better healthcare services. It looks unlikely for a family with a parent works. This comparison would be done for families with regular jobs with the same salary level. However, some believe that absence of the parents affects children negatively. Children may develop insecurity because of this absence. hey may want to share their life and daily activities with their parents. At least, a parent at home can create a difference. For example, when the child come home from the school, he can share his problems, thoughts or happiness with his mother who stays at home. Otherwise, the child should deal with the problems by on this own and parents would skip this part of the life of their child. Finally, I think it is inevitable that both parents contribute household in this global economical conditions since nowadays requirements of children are increased. However, children should be cared and listened as well. That's why both must work but they should create time for their children. They try to create common activities on weekends. They try to spend their vacations together as much as possible.
