My last final year

In my first semester, I took part in many interesting contests such as host competition (?) and fun games except that. I also joined the student union and participated to in organizing various activities about English based activities. 

During That semester, my roommates are were like a family taking care of each other, and. I adapted to this new environment gradually, but I was still lost unsure whether if I should make better use of my time and resources to study hard, or spend more time on the student union.

In my second semester, I decided to quit the student union that since it wasn’t practical and virtual I think (?) and. What I really want to do is enrich my extracurricular knowledge by reading some books.
Certainly Of course, I read about the history of the Ming dynasty but it’s was not enough because I wasted so much time on shopping, playing and eating special <'good food' sounds more natural> food, which not only didn’t satisfy me but also made me feel vacuous.

Generally speaking, for my English level still didn’t improve, my last year was on the loaf, so I really want to be a kite that someone can draw the string to lead me flying higher and farther bravely. (?)
