Hey! Is there anything in this passage that doesn’t sound natural or should be corrected? I’ve been studying Spanish for 22 years. But let’s face it, the first 15 years of my Spanish studies were pretty crappy - the school and even college years didn’t really help me improve my language skills that much. Even though I graduated from a linguistic university, I can’t say I really improved my Spanish there. I improved a lot of other skills, but not the language. So I know the struggle :) I’d say my main breakthrough happened in 2015 when I started practicing speaking Spanish every day, forced myself to consume a lot of stuff in Spanish, and run my classes solely in Spanish. My Spanish improved tremendously in one year and I managed to let go of all of my fears and barriers. Now most of the time it’s easier for me to speak Spanish than German .... mostly because 95% of my life is in Spanish now and I got used to speaking it and doing everything in it. But I’m still studying it. It’s impossible to stop learning a language. It’s a never-ending process, but i really enjoy it.
