Hi there! I am Oriana. My mother tongue is cantonese. I would love to teach you cantonese or chinese. Or maybe language exchange, culture exchange, I would like to make some new friends here!🥳 Currently i m living in the north of italy. I wanna improve my spoken italian. I m proud of my culture where i m come from. I like to introduce my city Guangzhou (roman name : Canton) it has more than 2200 years history. According to the human development index from the UN , Guangzhou ranks the first place in chinese cities. Canton remains its first place on chinese provinces’ GDP ranking list for 30 years which means it is the richest province in whole country. Since around 2nd century BC (yep, that time Jesus was not even born yet 😂) , they had been shipping silk, tea,ceramics, porcelaini to Ancient Rome, ancient Greece ,ancient Egypt, and some other countries through merchant ships . Nowadays, Guangzhou still plays its important role in international trading industry in China. However most of people from other countries only know about Beijing or shanghai but not Guangzhou that makes me kinda upset 🤦🏻‍♀️(Well...because our city plays it low key🤷🏻‍♀️ so other cities have been stealing the show! I totally get it 😑). No matter for history, business, education, food, tourism,Guangzhou is a nice destination to visit! FYI: most of the public museums there r free entrance. Hope u guys can get in to know about it 😊 Btw they got sky wheel on the top of canton tower(the rainbow color tower in the pic), it is the tallest tower in China , if u dare to ride the ferries wheel there 😂
