What do the phrases mean (describing feelings):
1. I am like putting an oily spoon into a milky pudding.
2. Still trying to catch the leaf beet.

I've never ever heard either of those and can't even guess what they mean. Where did you find them? Are they from a particular dialect of English? Or did you read them in a book? If the latter, we'd probably need the context to understand the meaning.
