Sultan Al Suwaidi
C12H22O11 is a widely consumed drug for pleasure. Nowadays, sucrose is present on almost every celebration’s table around the globe. It has become one of the most desired and addictive drug. However, sucrose has many unpleasant negative health effects including diabetes, high blood pressure, inflammation, weight gain and fatty liver disease. I agree, it’s obviously difficult to stop eating sugar. However, we can consume them in moderation to assure a healthy and prosperous lifestyle. And we should also seek reversing all the reversible health conditions including type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol levels, etc. And it could be done through healthy practices including exercising, lowering sugar consumption, adding more vegetables to your diet, eating fish, getting sun exposure for Vitamin-D, stopping smoking, etc. Why would we punish ourselves by practicing all the negative habits. Don’t we deserve a better and a healthy life?. It’s never too late.
