Try to speak with other people in English. Watching American TV shows or movies in English will help too. I try to repeat the words actors say, in their accent. :)

Some general advice about pronunciation: 1. Pick a specific dialect of English to learn and focus only on it. For example, British English or American English. But get even more specific. Is it Southern Standard British English or American Standard English? If you want your accent to be consistent and pleasant to listen to, try to gain specific understanding of what is regional (e.g. Scouse, Mancunian) and what is general (SSBE). 2. Get as much input (listening) in that specific accent as possible. Listen to the most professional radio/podcast shows and the larger news networks. In movies, you will hear many regional accents, and not always the standard you're targeting. 3. For the most common words and phrases (e.g. hello, how are you, I'm good, what's your name, etc.), use a listening tool like youglish to hear a natural pronunciation of the word by a native speaker (in the dialect you've selected, of course). 4. After that, record yourself saying the word or phrase. Listen to yourself. Then listen to the native speaker. Think about consonants, then about vowels. Analyze your pronunciation. If you think you've done a good job, post a voice clip of your pronunciation here on iTalki's community and we will help you with it. Just make sure you tell us whether you want to sound more American or more English. 5. Have a pronunciation lesson with me. I will give you detailed feedback on your pronunciation after we do some diagnostic tests. Even just one lesson will be helpful. 6. This is a sightly more advanced point, but sometimes reading older English poetry can help with the rhythm of English. Although some of the words might be archaic (outdated), older poetry is written with a rhythm (a metre) and if you know the metre of the poem, it can be excellent practice to make sure that your English has a nice "flow" to it. Intonation itself is a bigger topic than just rhythm/stress, but this is one way to approach that aspect of it. Hope this helps!

Try reading a book, maybe 1 page a day, and then record yourself while reading the book. Every day you will have to check your progress through the videos you recorded and if you're not satisfied you can repeat the words that you did not pronounce well.
