It's a scorching day today, and it's been my busiest day of the week. I had swimming and singing lessons back-to-back. These classes are tough, and to be honest, pretty expensive too. Mom's trying to cut back on spending to cover the costs. I have a brilliant idea: if we could cut down on Dad's smoking and liquor, it would be a win-win situation. He'd be healthier, and I could keep up with my training without sacrificing anything else. Terrific! We will see to it!
