🏠 Let’s learn some useful Arabic phrases to talk about housing and rent! 👋 When asking about where someone lives: أَيْنَ تَسْكُنُ؟ (ayna taskunu?) — Where do you live? (askunu fī shaqqah.) — I live in an apartment. (askunu fī baytin ṣaghīr.) — I live in a small house. 💬 To ask about rent: (kam al-ijāru ash-shahriyyu?) — How much is the monthly rent? (al-ijāru alfā junayhin.) — The rent is two thousand pounds. (ash-shaqqatu qarībatun mina al-ʿamali.) — The apartment is close to work. (al-manṭiqatu hādiʾatun wa āminah.) — The area is quiet and safe. ✨ Tip: In Arabic, you can use "أسكن في" (askunu fī) or "أعيش في" (aʿīshu fī) to mean “I live in”. 👉 "أسكن" is more formal and used in Modern Standard Arabic. 💬 Question for you: أَيْنَ تَسْكُنُ أَنْتَ؟ 🗣️ Want to practice talking about your home in Arabic?
