I’m French and in my language, “tampon” can mean both “stamp” and “sanitary tampon”.
I was in a club in Spain and asked the bouncer to put the “tampón” on my arm (so I could go out and come back). But in Spanish, “tampón” only means “sanitary tampon”. 😅 Which caused the bouncer to laugh at me. ”Stamp” in Spanish is actually ”sello”.
