I think you mean slang shortcuts or contractions. As for 'Chinese' ,the one I am learning , I don't think they have any similar shortcuts in that sense. The writting system is too different to apply comparable methods to shorten words. However and as far as I know ,many times you could leave words out such as in the case of 'de' ,when it is repeated many times in the sentence. "Wo de fangzi zuo bian shi wo de pengyou de fangzi." Here there is 3 'de' ,so you can omit the ones in 'wode' for it to sound better. 'wo fangzi zuo bian shi wo pengyou de fangzi." I am sure Chinese natives will be of better help in this regard .

yeah,we have, but most of the shortcuts is considered to be some new things, only young people eager to speak that . Shortcuts in chinese is not like you could pick up part of the words to make a whole new sentence. On the other way, maybe 成语, the idiom could be considered to be a shortcuts from a long sentence.
