what's the difference between "puede" and "sabe"
currently i'm studying spanish by rosetta stone, which doesn't really mentioned lots of stuff about grammar, so sometimes i got really confused, like this one.
okay i would like to have a try, "puede" is for ppl and animals, while "sabe" is for ppl onlyexcuse me for that "tense" error :p

"puede" ----> "poder": Having the ability or faculty that can do something.
"sabe"-----> "saber": Having knowledge of something// *Having a set of knowledge acquired through study or experience on any subject, science or art.--->*this is applicable only to persons
examples:
puede------> Mi perro puede correr 1.000 kilómetros (My dog can run 1.000 kilometers)
Yo puedo enseñarte español (I can teach you spanish)
sabe ---->Mi hermano sabe sumar y restar (my brother know how to add and subtract)

i dont understand your question, these verbs are differents and could be use for any thing, people, animals or things.
puede es del verbo poder (can)
sabe es del verbo saber (know)
