As a cultural matter, I think it is fair to say that most Americans, especially 2nd+ generation Americans, change their clothes every day. There are some Americans who do not change clothes every day, due to a variety of reasons.
One reason is because, if they are more recent immigrants, they may keep the same custom of their homeland and not change clothes every day. Another reason is that the American may not be able to afford a lot of different clothes or don't want to spend a lot of money on washing clothes, so they don't change every day. Other people can afford to change clothes, but may not do so because of their personal choice.
But these are just some Americans. The vast majority of Americans change their clothes every day.
