What do you mean? = you need to explain, it is not clear what you are saying

your is a word that shows ownership to the person you are talking too.
This pronoun brings too things together, the person spoken to and some other item:
Your apple = an apple that belongs to a person spoken too
you = a pronoun that refers to someone or multiple people spoken to.
