in spanish, to say because is "porque". but i'm confused on how it would be used. Could you give me examples of using "because" in spanish? and also give me examples using the differences of ''because" and "why" by using porque?

Let's see ¿Por qué tienes tanta prisa? (This "Por qué" is the one you use to make a question, it's separated and the "e" on "qué" is accented) Why are you in such a hurry? porque me quede dormido y ya es tarde. (This "porque" is the one for answers, it's not separated like the previous one nor it's accented) There is another case: Why, thank you very much! (This why is not for questions and not related to por qué. This is an interjection like ah!, hey!, in this case the interjection could be ¡vaya! ) ¡Vaya! Muchas gracias

Hola , Here an example : Por que quieres ir con ella? ( why do you want to go with her ?) Porque quiero conocerla .( because i want to get to know her ) Por que no puedes venir esta sera > why can't you come this night ? Porque tengo que trabajo ( Because i have to work ) "Porque" is used exactly as "because " is used in an english sentence .

¡Hola! Se utiliza “por qué” en forma de pregunta. Why? = ¿Por qué? Y se utiliza “porque” en forma de respuesta Because = Porque Nótese que en forma de pregunta son dos palabras y la “e” debe acentuarse

Why did you do it? => ¿Por qué lo has hecho? [Separate, with accent] Because I wanted to. => Porque quería. [Together, without accent] Quiero saber el porqué de tu acción. => I want to know the reason behind your action. [Together, with accent] La razón por que (= por la cual) lo hice no importa. => The reason why I did it doesn't matter. [Separate, without accent] The first two cases are much more common.
