what is the difference between "significance" and "signification"?THANKS.
the same as the title.Both of the two words are noun .But is there some diffierence between them when we use ?

significance
1) meaning 意义; 意思: understand the significance of a remark 了解某句话的意义
2) importance 重大意义; 重要性: a speech of great significance 有重大意义的讲话
signification
meaning of a word, etc 词等的含义; 词义.
