Be there or be square. Not sure really but this seems to be the most popular translation I can find on line.

这位仁兄，在下起手了，我建议你在学英语的时候不要拿中文来套，很多东西可以翻译出来，但并不等于国外人这么说，你要学着用国外的习惯去说国外人的语言。有的时候很普通的一句中文翻译成英文就会有其他的含义。还有就是要注意上下文，上下文不同说的话也不同，虽然很多时候翻译成中文都一样。
